מדיום שעוותי Resin Oil Wax מסדרת המדיומים נטולי הסובלנט Miracle Medium תוצרת Michael Harding. מדיום זה הוא משחה ציור רכה לשילוב עם צבעי השמן. עשוי שרף דמאר dammar משולב עם שעוות דבורים מולבנת, עם שמן פשתן פולימרי – standoil, ועם המדיום נטול הסולבנט miracle medium (MM0) של החברה. מקנה ברק משי עדין ואימפסטו עדין לצבע.

לתשומת לבך – יתכן שהשעווה תתקשה עם הזמן. במקרה זה יש לשים את הצנצנת עצמה בסיר עם חמים ולערבב את תוכן הצנצנת בצורה עקבית עד להתרכות מלאה.

MM3 Resin-Oil Wax

Our Miracle Medium™ Resin Oil Wax Medium is a soft painting paste, derived from pure bleached beeswax then mixed with dammar resin and linseed stand oil, and MH Miracle Medium™. This popular medium creates a satin sheen and gentle impasto in paint layers.

– Settling of the medium may occur so allow jar to stand in hot water and stir contents until dissolved.

– Blend with oil paints to create a resin-oil wax mixture, offering unique handling and textural effects.

– Provides artists with the ability to alter the body and surface quality of oil paints for varied artistic expressions.

– Available in 100ml, 250ml and 1 Litre.

Through the Renaissance, artists worked with combinations of tree resins, thickened vegetable oils, waxes and balsams.
The exact organisation of these raw materials is open to speculation and may differ from one artist to another, and even within the practice of an individual artist.
